The Challenge
Multiverse, a global education and workforce development company, scheduled a headshot day for its U.S. team in New York City. The challenge? Ensure visual consistency with the company’s UK office headshots—down to lighting, background tone, and editing style.
The team at Multiverse provided reference images, a curated backdrop color palette, and strict formatting guidelines.
This meant collaborating closely across time zones to align technical specs and creative expectations, while also coordinating a high-volume shoot for 40 professionals in limited time slots.

Our Approach
JFP Studios took a high-touch, detail-driven approach to pre-production and shoot execution:
- Participated in advance briefings with Multiverse’s UK and NYC teams
- Provided lighting and background recommendations to match their UK standard
- Finalized the Almond backdrop to complement a clean, warm tone
- Coordinated a structured timeline with 5-minute time slots per person
- Captured consistent, flattering portraits with controlled lighting for editing accuracy
- Delivered a web gallery with three graded selects for each team member
- Provided one final, retouched photo per person following client-selected favorites
- Implemented feedback loops to make real-time retouching adjustments
