The Story
When H&M planned its highly anticipated 2024 Global Store Manager Summit, their production team sought a photographer who could do more than just document the agenda—they needed someone who could visually capture a brand transformation in real time.
That’s when our production partner brought in JFP Studios to photograph the entire three-day experience.
This was a pivotal leadership event where over 500 store managers from North America and beyond gathered to align on H&M’s future.
The Challenge
Photographing a large-scale event across multiple venues and timeframes comes with unique demands:
- Covering over 20 breakout sessions and activations spread across ballrooms and terraces
- Documenting high-profile leadership presentations that unveiled H&M’s "Shift to 2025" strategy
- Capturing key workshop themes like "Here to Win," "Customer Couture," and "Product Journey"
- Showcasing branded evening events, including "Casino Royale Night" and "Desert Sunset Social"
- Providing dynamic, emotionally resonant visuals while remaining agile and discreet
With a packed schedule and over 500 attendees, every moment had to count.
Our Approach
Working closely with the event’s production partner, we created a detailed event photography plan built around agility, storytelling, and brand consistency:
- Pre-Event Coordination: Met with the production team to map out critical sessions, speaker priorities, and brand moments.
- Live Event Coverage: Alternated between wide atmospheric shots and intimate candids that captured the emotion and energy of each moment.
- Branded Visuals: Focused on capturing logos, branded signage, stage activations, and H&M cultural touchpoints throughout the venue.
- Rapid Turnaround: Delivered preview highlight images each day to support internal communications and event recaps.
- Story-Driven Composition: Made sure every photo didn’t just show what happened—but why it mattered.
