A 7-Day Challenge Needed More Than Seven Emails. We Built the System Behind It.

Gerren Sprauve built his approach around making people feel seen. We helped turn his Thank You Moments philosophy into a seven-day experience with a connected enrollment, reflection and coaching journey behind it.

GERREN SPRAUVE / THE ALIGNMENT GROUP / THANK YOU MOMENTS CHALLENGE

01 / THE BUSINESS CONTEXT

His relationships built the business. The system needed to reflect that.

Gerren's approach to business was built on a deceptively simple practice: make people feel genuinely seen and appreciated.

As he moved further into leadership coaching and speaking, three things needed to connect:

  • The methodology: a seven-day practice of noticing experiences, expressing appreciation and reflecting on patterns.
  • The audience: people who discovered Gerren through talks, referrals, conversations and online content.
  • The opportunity: a respectful path from experiencing his ideas to requesting deeper coaching when the need became clear.

He had useful tools and a real methodology. What he needed was one coordinated journey that behaved like his business, not a collection of disconnected marketing steps.

The experience needed to earn the next conversation, not force it.

02 / THE CHALLENGE

Seven emails were not the experience.

The challenge needed to invite participation, not just distribute content.

THE CHALLENGE IN BRIEF

  • Make the method tangible: let people practice Thank You Moments in daily life before considering coaching.
  • Respect the relationship: do not treat a challenge purchase or completion as proof someone wants a coaching offer.
  • Connect the data: make enrollment, reflection, participation and expressed coaching interest visible in one system.

A person could appreciate Gerren's message without yet understanding how it might help them.

The challenge had to bridge that gap through daily observation and reflection. Behind the scenes, the system had to remember what each person did without overwhelming them with a sales sequence.

The principle: participation is engagement. Coaching interest must be expressed or demonstrated separately.

03 / THE CREATIVE RESPONSE

Experience first. Coaching conversation second.

We designed the customer journey around Gerren's actual method: a small commitment, seven days of practice, private reflection and an optional next conversation.

WHAT WE DID / THREE DECISIONS

  • Build a participant journey: enrollment, orientation, daily prompts and a Day 7 live integration experience.
  • Connect the operating system: Stripe checkout, GoHighLevel forms, CRM records, automation and email delivery.
  • Separate participation from sales: track engagement without automatically treating participants as coaching opportunities.

01. Give the experience a clear entry point

  • A dedicated challenge sales page with an introductory $20 checkout.
  • Purchase confirmation and orientation before the daily challenge begins.
  • A reusable challenge page and private reflection form for participants.

02. Connect the journey behind the scenes

  • Stripe payment triggers contact creation, tagging and a challenge-enrollment record.
  • A 13-stage CRM pipeline tracks the coaching sales journey.
  • 19 custom fields and 11 tags organize cohort, activity and engagement information.
  • An automated Day 0 to Day 7 email sequence gives the challenge a repeatable communication structure.

03. Leave the operator with a usable system

  • A visual CRM handoff maps pages, payments, contacts, forms, workflows and reporting.
  • Cohort dates and times have a defined location for future updates.
  • Testing and handoff separate what has been verified from what still needs live confirmation.

What JFP Studios delivered

  • Four participant-facing funnel pages: sales page, checkout, thank-you page and daily challenge page.
  • One connected CRM journey: purchase events create or update a contact record, add a purchase tag and note, and create a pipeline card.
  • 13 stages: a structured sales pipeline with a defined route from initial interest to coaching conversations and appropriate follow-up.
  • 19 fields and 11 tags: a data structure for cohort participation, reflections and intent.
  • 10 challenge emails: a structured onboarding and Day 0 to Day 7 communication sequence, documented in the October CRM handoff.
  • An operator guide: a visual walkthrough explaining how the client can monitor and manage the system.

What was verified

October handoff tests demonstrated contact creation, purchase tagging and notes, pipeline-card creation and the ten-email sequence in a controlled environment.

Why this matters

  • Trust precedes the pitch: prospective clients can experience Gerren's thinking before deciding whether coaching is relevant.
  • Interest becomes visible: the system distinguishes a paid challenge participant from someone explicitly asking for support.
  • Each cohort can teach the business something: reflection and engagement data create a foundation for improving the next experience.

This case documents the V1 system build and October 2026 handoff. Live cohort completion, participant retention, coaching conversions and attributable revenue have not been verified. At handoff, certain live integrations and timing settings still required confirmation.
